3M™ 5490 PTFE Film Tape
3M™ PTFE 5490 Film Tape uses an extruded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film backing, which has an extremely low coefficient of friction, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive to create smooth, non-stick surfaces over a range of substrates.
- High temperature resistance.
- Chemical resistance.
- For wrapping web rollers to reduce friction.
- Noise reduction where parts rub together.
- Mould release in composite bonding.
